Thomas Slabe joined Ecobat in January 2024 as CEO and President. Thomas is a seasoned executive known for his strategic vision and leadership.

Prior to Ecobat, Thomas was President and CEO of Neenah Enterprises Inc. (NEI) from 2018 to 2023. Under his stewardship, NEI witnessed significant growth and development, ultimately leading to a successful sale in July 2022.

Prior to his tenure at NEI, Thomas held the position of President, Stormwater and Drainage at Contech Engineered Solutions, LLC, a private equity-owned provider of engineered bridges, pipes, and stormwater management systems, from 2006 to 2017. Contech achieved remarkable success and was subsequently sold in October 2016.

Before his time at Contech, Thomas held leadership roles at Dayton Superior Corporation, a leading supplier of building materials. His contributions played a pivotal role in the company’s success within various end markets.

Thomas holds a MBA and BBA from Cleveland State University.

He enjoys staying active through swimming, fitness and golf. He is a devoted family man with a marriage spanning more than 30 years to his wife, Gretchen. Together, they have three children, all of whom have embarked on their own successful paths.
