Chaitan Kansal joined Ecobat in April 2024 as Chief Commercial Officer. With extensive experience in commercial transactions, Chaitan, known as CK, will drive strategic growth for the company. 

Prior to Ecobat, CK was Chief Marketing Officer at Albemarle where he led the Energy Storage Global Business Unit Growth Platforms from 2021 to 2024, shaping a comprehensive lithium go-to-market strategy.  

Prior to Albemarle, CK was Global General Manager, Specialty Fluids & Energy at Eastman from 2018 to 2021. He held additional positions within the company starting in 2014. CK has also held positions at Ashland, Kearney and MicroStrategy Inc. 

CK holds a MBA from University of Michigan and a BS from Thapar Institute of Engineering.
