Don Nelson joined Ecobat in January of 2025 as Chief Operating Officer. Don is a passionate and dynamic leader with a track record of driving significant improvements using Lean operating systems, tools and processes.

He has nearly 40 years of experience working for companies such as Boeing, Alcoa, Rexnord, Twin Disc and UGN Automotive. Most recently, Don served as COO for Crenlo Engineered Cabs. Don’s experience includes Aerospace, Automotive and Industrial engineered products markets. He has held positions in both public and private equity companies.

Don holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Kansas and a MBA from the University of Missouri.
