Marcus Randolph ist seit 2020 Ecobat-Präsident mit 40 Jahren Erfahrung in der Bergbau- und Prozessindustrie. Fue nombrado Generaldirektor und Präsident im März 2022. 

Prior to Ecobat, Marcus was Executive Chairman of Boart Longyear, a Salt Lake City company and the world’s largest supplier of drilling services and drilling equipment to the minerals industries, from 2015 to 2019.


Before Boart Longyear, Marcus held several leadership positions at BHP Billiton in Melbourne, Australia, from 1999 to 2013, including Chief Executive Ferrous and Coal, Chief Organization Development Officer, President of Diamond and Specialty Products, Chief Development Officer for Minerals, and Chief Strategic Officer for Minerals.

Zu seinen weiteren beruflichen Stationen und Höhepunkten zählen seine Tätigkeit als CEO und Präsident von First Dynasty Mines Ltd. in Singapur sowie als Mining and Metals Executive für Rio Tinto PLC in London.

Marcus has lived in Lima, Peru; London; Singapore; and Melbourne, Australia. He now resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico with his wife of several decades and a beloved big dog. He holds a BS in Mining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from Harvard University.
